My dearest Baekhyun,

To say I didn’t fall in love with you at first sight, from the very moment our eyes met, would be a huge lie. I somehow thought that you’d be the person who would finally make a positive change after being so badly bruised by the one before. And then the other one too. A lot of things happened in between us, when I made that really bad decision, but you need to know that from the moment I saw you I knew I’d never forget you. And I was right about that.

Every day you surprise me. You surprise me with how different you see me from the way others do. You surprise me with the compassion for the poor little soul I am. You surprise me with your tender and unstoppable love. You surprise me with just how much I am able to love you more everyday. Even if it’s been months since I met you, asked you to give me another chance and then eventually asked you to be mine permanently, you still get my heart racing just by walking into the same room I’m in. Not to mention my cheeks are colored as the silly tomato person I am. You stop my breath with a glance. And you change my world by just being in it. You are the one constant in my life, Baekhyun.

You saved me when no one else even bothered to waste their time getting to know me. It’s funny how you don’t realize you’re missing something until that missing piece breaks into your life with the loveliest person in the world.
